Today's Prayer

God, please show us how you want us to use the skills, spiritual gifts, resources you have given us and the relationships you have allowed us to have to prepare for the great harvest You have planned. I pray that we will be a tool in your hands to draw people to you. With that in mind, I ask you to please forgive us of our sins, sins that stand in the way of a closer fellowship with you and that would be a hindrance to our living testimony. Please help us start fresh and new again right now. Thank you and bless you, Lord.

In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.

MY PRAYER FOR 10/2/2011
Father in heaven, today I release every care, concern, offense and disappointment to You. I choose to keep the peace that You have given me. I look forward to today knowing that You are with me and leading me in victory in Jesus’ name! and O Heavenly Father I cover all of my sisters and brothers all over the entire world with this humble prayer and asking that you manifest their heart desires to each and everyone of them and me too according to your will, O Heavenly Father through the name of your son,Jesus who is our big brother and high priest amen

It's an evil world we live in. And according to the prediction of the Scriptures it will increase in iniquity and wicked men will wax worse. But it will not overcome us who are believers in Christ and are born again of God into holy offspring of God. God gives us who are His offspring the necessary faith and character and ability to overcome the world. Here are some Scripture passages I have found very inspiring and faith-building for strengthening us and assuring us of the victory God has given us over the present corruption of this world.

1 John 5:4-5 NKJV (4) For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world--our faith. (5) Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?

 2 Peter 1:3-4 NKJV (3) His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue, (4) by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

Philippians 2:13-15 NKJV (13) It is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure. (14) Do all things without complaining and disputing, (15) that you may become blameless and harmless, children of God without fault in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world.

2 Peter 2:9 NKJV (9) then the Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptations and to reserve the unjust under punishment for the day of judgment,
 

Peter further on takes a practical approach to the realities that confront us in this corrupt world and exhorts us to exercise the ability God has given us to overcome the many temptations that confront us. For one who professes to be a child of God to fall back into the corrupt life-style of this world is like a dog returning to its vomit or a pig which has been washed wallowing again in the mud. But if we have faith in the work of this great salvation which the Lord has accomplished in us we can be assured that when God saves us we by God's transforming grace become not merely like dogs which vomit or pigs which are washed. But through the regeeration power of this great salvation we are transformed into new creatures in Christ and we have turned away from our vomit and the mud and have no desire to return to it. But the devil and his demons will relentlessly seek to cheat and rob us of our divinely given places in Christ. And so we must be vigilant.

 

But let us read Peter's discussion on that in  2 Peter 2:12-22 NKJV (12) But these, like natural brute beasts made to be caught and destroyed, speak evil of the things they do not understand, and will utterly perish in their own corruption, (13) and will receive the wages of unrighteousness, as those who count it pleasure to carouse in the daytime. They are spots and blemishes, carousing in their own deceptions while they feast with you, (14) having eyes full of adultery and that cannot cease from sin, enticing unstable souls. They have a heart trained in covetous practices, and are accursed children. (15) They have forsaken the right way and gone astray, following the way of Balaam the son of Beor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness; (16) but he was rebuked for his iniquity: a dumb donkey speaking with a man's voice restrained the madness of the prophet. (17) These are wells without water, clouds carried by a tempest, for whom is reserved the blackness of darkness forever. (18) For when they speak great swelling words of emptiness, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through lewdness, the ones who have actually escaped from those who live in error. (19) While they promise them liberty, they themselves are slaves of corruption; for by whom a person is overcome, by him also he is brought into bondage. (20) For if, after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled in them and overcome, the latter end is worse for them than the beginning. (21) For it would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than having known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered to them. (22) But it has happened to them according to the true proverb: "A dog returns to his own vomit,"  and, "a sow, having washed, to her wallowing in the mire."

MUST WE CONTINUE WITH THE STATE OF SEXUAL PERVERSION?
 
The reason why the world is at a state it is currently at, which is a moral decline all time low, is because of acts such as these which are becoming a public norm in most cities. Pornography is a sin, and so is strip teasing. In the spiritual world, demons live inside the watchers of these social perversions, as they live and watch through their eyes for enjoyment, building themselves greater in numbers within the sick victim or sinner who is lusting after the flesh.

Perhaps one of the most dangerous ways for an attack of demons into a human nowadays is through pornography or strippers because of the lust for the human flesh; it causes a personal moral character degradation, and one sin will lead to another, mainly in this case, audultery, self fornication, or even to eventual homosexuality, or even phedophiliac or narccissim (self godly love or self worship).

There is nothing clean, pure, or art of beauty to this sort of 'jobs'. It is through shear lust, greed to make the 'fast' cash, and living in a world of drugs, sex, and rock and roll, godless as it is, that drives these people to these sorts of things. If one needs to make money, there are other means, and begging on the streets is much better off than sinning, and then in turn, causing others to sin because of your actions. Jesus even said, 'If your right eye causes you to sin, tear it out and throw it away.

For it is better that you lose one of your members than that your whole body be thrown into hell.' Mat.5:29, or 'And if your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and throw it away. For it is better that you lose one of your members than that your whole body go into hell.' Mat.5:30 ..... it is likewise with these porn stars or strippers ... it is better for them to be homeless and on the streets or work as a dishwasher than to sell their souls and bodies to satan, and never get into heaven at all.

Martyp well I'm glad that through my testimony you now know that your season of blessing is on the way GOD IS A ON TIME GOD NOT OUR TIME BUT ON TIME BECAUSE HE KNOWS THE END AT THE BEGINNING SO STAY FAITHFUL AND STAND AND WATCH GOD BRING YOU OUT I JUST SENT YOU A FRIEND REQUEST BUT I'M MORE GLAD TO MEET YOU AS A CHILD OF GOD.
