Ephesians 5;1 Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children;

vs2 and walk in love, just as Christ also loved you and gave Himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God as a fragrant aroma.

Just as children imitate their parents, so we should imitate Christ. His great love for us led Him to sacrifice himself so that we might live. Our love for others should be of the same kind; a love that goes beyond affection to self sacrificing service.

It is better to earn recognition without getting it than to get recognition without earning it.

Ephesians 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ.

In Christ we have all the benefits of knowing God. Because we have an intimate relationship with Christ, we can enjoy these blessings now. These blessings are eternal.

Praise the Lord. He is our guidance in life, and He is perfect in every way. Sing praises to God, and give Him all the glory. All powerful is God!

Psalms 142:1 I cry aloud with my voice to the Lord; I make supplication with my voice to the Lord.

As for God, His way is perfect!   (Psalm 18:30)

Let God Chooose

Let God choose for you, it will be the right decision.
Let God guide you, it will be the right direction.
Let God plan for you, it will be in the right timing.
...Let God measure for you, it will be the right portion.
Let God help you, it will be the right care.
Let God instruct you, it will be the right teaching.
Let God prepare you, it will be the right training.
Let God counsel you, it will be the right perspective.
Let God fight for you, it will be the right outcome.
Let God work in you, it will be the right result.

There are times, I don't know where to go in the Bible. I pray to God to guide me to a book, chapter, verse to learn a lesson He wants me to learn. My Dad gave me a study bible, and it helps me more to understand a verse because of the footnotes. I know how hard it is. Trust God to help you on the path to Him through The Word.

Totally agree Chris... but it takes a certain disposition to appreciate what God's word offers us. I've been through a fallow period when reading God's word was like reading a plain literature. I've debated, wrestled, wondered, denied... messages and passages I've read from it with/to others, with/to myself and the words just came out flat. I know it could be a struggle for some to have the Word of God become relevant and meaningful in their life. It's still all about God's grace to be able to reach and stay in that disposition. I pray that more people be truly touched. (",)
