All About GOD

All About GOD - Growing Relationships with Jesus and Others

I was going to start a new group because I was not sure whether I should insert this topic in this group, but since the theme of this group is to reach out to the hurting I figure it would be a good place for it.

PLEASE FEEL FREE TO ASK ANY QUESTIONS CONCERNING THE ACTIVITY OF FALLEN ANGELS.
I have had personal experiences in this area. I have seen many folks transform, not just manifest demonic possession by yelling or throwing up, but i have actually seen them changing into horrible things.

I have also seen fallen angels manifest themselves in material ways.
I am also familiar with the epidemic going around with drug user becoming posses.

So please feel free to ask - I will begin the discussion by answering a question that a dear sister in Christ asked me not to long ago.

A common question I have been asked about this subject is the following:

Q. What exactly is a demon and why do people throw up when they manifest and are delivered form demonic possession?

I would not recommend anyone to talk to a demon possess person, I was doing it because I was around them during the drug use. The Word of God and His amazing Love/Faithfulness kept me over and over again. Knowing the word of God kept me from making huge mistakes that others have made.

That was Eve's mistake, engaging in conversation with the enemy. They twist the word in ways that it becomes obvious that the person you are talking to is possessed. After about 1/2 an hour of talking to what I thought was just another person with severe problems it became obvious that there was a demon in them, since they took out of context verse after verse.

By Gods Grace and for His glory (please do not miss interpret my statement as arrogant or prideful, for I know I do not know it all and love to continue to grow) I have spend time in the scriptures so I was able to again and again and again say no, you are taking the verse out of context and I would explain it accordingly.
I also reminded the person that even thou they were physically changing in twice their weight and their face was horrible, they were not free to hurt me since my Father could crush them with a word.

Not by might or power but by the Spirit says the Lord. It is not a good idea to engage in such conversations –
God allowed me such experience because He now has changed that around for His Glory.

All we really need to be able to tell if a person is demon possess or if there is a fallen angel around, is the Holy Spirit's discernment. Some folks will even say God bless you and use lingo normally reserve for Christians. I know it sounds crazy to those who never had such experiences, but the word talks about demons a lot, so the enemy and his army is real and unfortunately growing. We must be able to rightly divide the word of God and live in such a way that demons fear us and not the other way around.

They should see Jesus in us and fear.
ALL GLORY TO OUR KING, PRAISE HIM - HALLELUJAH!!!!!

Gold or silver I do not have right now to give you, but what I have, which has been freely given to me, freely I give to you.

In one of the coments the following term or name was used:

incubus spirits

For those not familiar with the term i will give a brief, extremly brief defenition:

An incubus is a demon in male form supposed to lie upon sleepers, especially women, in order to have sexual intercourse with them. The name incubus is not in the bible but is a name commonly use for those fallen angels/demons.

Debate about the demons called incubus began early among Christians. St. Augustine touched on the topic in "De Civitate Dei" (The City of God), admitting that there were too many attacks by incubi to deny them. He stated, "There is, too, a very general rumor, which many have verified by their own experience, or which trustworthy persons who have heard the experience of others corroborate, that sylvans and fauns, who are commonly called incubi, had often made wicked assaults upon women." However, despite this affirmation, questions continued about the reproductive capabilities of the demons. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Incubus

Now the thing to remember sisters is that this attacks happend to nonbelievers or believers who open doors to fallen angels through various avenues. So please don't fear. Demons need permission from God to mess with a child of God - ok

We know that some fallen angels are chained in hell now because they (this one is very controversial, within our Christian family there are different interpretations of what the original language, Hebrew, is teaching us), in Genesis 6:1-2, they being "the sons of God took the daughters of men for wives"

How were angels able to do that, well they have the capacity to materialize as we see in many places in scripture or a second possibility is that they posses humans to do so. The titles sons of God is almost exclusive to angels in the O.T. Matthew 22:30 states that when we are resurrected, we will be like angels who do not marry, yet this verse does not negate the POSSIBILITY of angels being able to procreate.

Is not hard for me to believe it because I heard a few testimonies of woman who have been sexually oppress by demons, they tend to temp them into masturbation and other sexual sins at first.

In 2Peter 2:4-5and Jude 6, we get a glimpse of what happen to those angels

I get the idea of the pic, but Jesus can just think it or speak it and Satan, a created being is gone. God fights through the Holy angels and us humans, we battle the fallen principalities with weapons that are not carnal.

2 Corinthians 10

The Spiritual War

3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. 4 For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, 5 casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, 6 and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled.

Again I understand what the painter tried to depict with the attached pic but that pic is so far from the truth that, I needed to bring it up.

Jesus is in no struggle with a created being that is no match for Him. Satan can ONLY DO what He is allowed period dot dot. So there is no wrestling going on:

John 19:30 (New International Version)
30When he had received the drink, Jesus said, "It is finished." With that, he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.
The reason for vomiting is that the demons are entangled in our intestines and that is just one of the manifestations when deliverance occurs. A very good ministry on deliverance is in Hot Springs, AR, "Lake Hamilton Bible Camp". The website is http://www.lakehamiltonbiblecamp.com/ and has a wealth of information on how to deal with demonic oppression. There are free videos and recordings that will explain and give solutions to the problems people face with these issues. I hope this helps.
Joan thanks for the info, is there any scripture that would shed ligh on the entangledment of demons to our intestines or is it just one of those things we know from imperical evidance?
Speaking of the vomiting.. Can I share my true story here. It's the year 2007 and we had already been dealing with horrible paranormal phenomena for months when these things happened. Some of the things we experience were physical attacks, Like the sofa levitating ( It's a long story which someday I will reveal in parts as the incidents occurred) and the attack on my 17 yr old daughter . She was making a sandwich one evening after a long day of sleeping, it was 2:30 AM or later, We were afraid to sleep at night so we started staying up till the sun came out which was when my husband returned from working the night shift. Anyway, she was making the sandwich when all of a sudden she lets out a low groaning sound and tells me shes feeling very weird. somewhat overtaken and weak is what it looked like. So she comes around the counter and quickly, quickly sits down. she slumped into her chair like she had no control over her body, she then became rigid and turned the color Gray, not pale, Gray, like what a decomposing body looks like in the movies. She started to mumble words that were unclear, I recognized something sinister was happening and put holy water in her mouth and prayed over her, no more than 3 seconds into praying with my hands over her head and the holy water being sprinkled heavily over her, she sat straight up and then vomited . It was just a little water that I had given her, whats weird is how her color had returned so quickly after vomiting. She wasn't sick at all nor had she been Anyway, when it was all over, which was quickly, she said she tried to speak but felt she was being controlled by something menacing. she also heard strange voices but couldn't make out what was being said to her. This sort of thing with the vomiting after being attacked continues within my family. with me it's not vomiting, it's raging anger. I become very angry and violent for no reason at all. and NO, we are not sick nor have epilepsy's.
anyway, just wanted to share that with you... Thanks.
Many people live in constant fear of demons. They consider them to be invisible, wicked spirit beings. They are held to be responsible for doing untold harm to people and nations. Wars, civil unrest and the progress of evil political ideologies are all considered to be the result of demon activity. Demons are held to be capable of entering the body or mind of a person. where the demon can destroy faith, induce bodily sickness or make the person mad. Some believe that demons attach themselves to objects such as books, furniture or jewellery, and when misfortune strikes they will dispose hastily of the object suspected of harbouring the demon.

A careful examination of the Bible teaching about demons (or devils), shows that there are no such beings as demons. There is no need to fear them! They do not exist! (1) In the Old Testament, demons are only mentioned on a very few occasions. In every reference there is a connection with false religion. For example, concerning the unfaithful nation of Israel we read: "They sacrificed to devils not to God to gods whom they knew not." (Deut. 32:17). Of Israel it was commanded: "They shall no more offer their sacrifices unto devils " (Lev. 17:7). Speaking of the unfaithfulness of one of Israel’s kings we read: "He ordained him priests for the high places, and for the devils, and for the calves which he had made" (2 Chron. 11:15). (2) We find exactly the same teaching in the New Testament. The Apostle Paul writes to the Corinthian believers and warns them to keep away from the idol worship which was part of the Corinthian way of life: "Wherefore, my dearly beloved, flee from idolatry¼ the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to devils, and not to God: and I would not that ye should have fellowship with devils. Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord’s table and the table of devils" (1 Cor. 10:14,20,21). (3) But, according to the Bible, pagan gods have no real existence. So the God of the Bible—"the only true God"—declares, "There is no God else beside me; a just God and a saviour; there is none beside me. Look unto me and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God and there is none else" (Isa. 45:21,22).

Since demons are pagan gods, and since pagan gods have no real existence, it follows that demons do not exist!!

(4) But does not the Bible speak of people being possessed by demons?—Yes, but only in a very restricted way:

¨ Demon possession is not mentioned in the whole of the Old Testament.

¨ Demon possession is not mentioned in most of the New Testament.

¨ Demon possession occurs only in the Gospels and occasionally in the book of Acts.

Careful examination shows that demon possession in the Gospels and Acts, was a way of speaking about certain types of illnesses—particularly epilepsy (e.g. Matt. 17:15) and psychiatric illness (e.g. Mark 5:1–15, and note especially, "in his right mind" in verse 15). The fact that Jesus cured people with so called ‘demon possession’, does not mean that he believed that demons had real existence. We, today, do not believe that people are really affected by the moon when we refer to them (perhaps unkindly), as LUNAtics; neither do we commit ourselves to believing in demons when we refer to a state of confusion as panDEMONium.

There was a reason why demon possession, as an explanation of certain diseases, was so popular in the time of Jesus. There was a very good reason why Jesus went along with the idea of demon possession. For those who will take the trouble to find out the facts there are interesting and exciting discoveries to be made—discoveries which could affect your salvation!

Our personal salvation does not depend only on knowing the 'truth about Demons' but on also knowing the Bible's full story of salvation from eternal death. Such salvation is offered to those who are prepared to learn about God's word, believe God's promises and be baptised 'into Christ', thus 'putting on Christ'. The Apostle Paul assures you and me that... "the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord...." (Romans 6:23). "Through Jesus".....is the only way!
Well I learned that Jesus removed demons from people. and always believed demonic possession and demons do exist. if you do not believe demons exist then what are the black shadows and black floating apparitions that we see in my house? they can't be aliens because I don't believe aliens exist, seriously, what are these things that many people see and hear all over the world? we can't all be crazy? my entire family and some neighbors have seen these things outside and inside my homes. Are they not demons?
Bro Chris,

Jesus casts demons out of folks. If there was only one scripture mentioning demons by Jesus, that would be enough for me but there happened to be many more.

Fallen angels which are the same thing as demons are as real as our hand or feet. We fight not against flesh and blood but principalities... etc.

Fallen angels/demons love us to believe they do not exist, but they do. They are very real. More real than the world we see, since this world will pass a way, but they being spirit beings will go on. The Spiritual is more real than the physical or at least as equally real.

Deuteronomy 32:17
They sacrificed to demons, which are not God— gods they had not known, gods that recently appeared, gods your fathers did not fear.

Matthew 8:31
The demons begged Jesus, "If you drive us out, send us into the herd of pigs."
NO WAY AROUND IT. DEMONS ARE REAL.

Matthew 9:34
But the Pharisees said, "It is by the prince of demons that he drives out demons."

Luke 8:35
and the people went out to see what had happened. When they came to Jesus, they found the man from whom the demons had gone out, sitting at Jesus' feet, dressed and in his right mind; and they were afraid

Romans 8:38
For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers,

1 Corinthians 10:20
No, but the sacrifices of pagans are offered to demons, not to God, and I do not want you to be participants with demons.

James 2:19
You believe that there is one God. Good! Even the demons believe that—and shudder.

Revelation 18:2
With a mighty voice he shouted: "Fallen! Fallen is Babylon the Great! She has become a home for demons and a haunt for every evil spirit, a haunt for every unclean and detestable bird.

I CAN INCLUDE MANY MORE VERSES THESE ARE JUST A FEW.
Fallen Angels There are several very blasphemous Doctrines held by well meaning Christians and one of them relates to the idea that at some time in the past and indeed, before the creation of mankind, many angels were cast out of heaven for rebelling against God, the chiefest of which was the Devil of mythical belief. This radical idea is taken from the words of Rev. 12:7-10, part of which is as follows.....

"And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him
WERE ANGELS CAST OUT OF HEAVEN REALLY?
Whilst that sounds very simple and easy to understand and seems to indicate the truth of the theory of "angels being put out of heaven", there are two very simple reasons why such a blasphemous idea is simply not true. The first one really spells the doom of the idea, for the book of Revelation, from which the idea is derived does NOT substantiate the idea at all, for John was told as he was given the Revelation, that all of it was a "Revelation of things which must shortly come to pass"...Rev.1:1. Thus to use this passage to prove an imaginary event before creation is a dismal failure. The identity of this dragon is revealed in v.10, as the "accuser of our Brethren", the pagan Roman system which condemned thousands of Christians to death. Verses 7-9 merely reveal that the power of paganism was replaced by Christianity, imperfect though it turned out to be, with the diabolical ferocity of the Roman Catholic system trying again to kill the true believers down through the centuries.

The second reason why the commonly believed idea of the "fallen angels", is not true, is that it is obvious from Psalms 148:2-5, that angels were specially created as a spiritual entity to serve the Lord (Jehovah)....""He commanded and they were created"... (angels ...hosts... sun... moon...stars.. heavens.. waters) and Jesus tells us in Rev 4:11..".THOU hast created ALL things and for thy pleasure they are and were created". The purpose of this special creation of angels by Jehovah is explained by the Apostle Paul....."Are thy not all ministering spirits sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation". It is not realistic to assume that He created one bad angel and one good one, and so on, NO.....He created perfect immortal spiritual beings., the like of which we hope to be when the Lord Jesus rewards those who have loved and served Him. IF it was possible for angels to sin then what is the value of being made like unto the angels?. Why resist sin in this life supposedly secure in the hope that we will be made LIKE UNTO THE ANGELS (Luke 20:35), if we are merely exchanging one sinful nature for another? NO...that is not the case at all, for God created these pure spiritual beings to be in His presence and we are told by Habakkuk..."Thou art of purer eyes than to behold evil and canst not look on iniquity." (Hab.1:13).

Thus it is quite clear that the angels in the presence of the Father were AND ARE, pure, sinless and immortal. Thus there could never have been angels thrown out of heaven for rebelling
God Bless you!!!
I can debunk your argument in a thousand ways. Historically the Christian community has believe in the existence of demons, as the scriptures give abundance of evidence for their existence, but don't feel like arguing the point right now bro, I got to go bbq.
