This New Soviet-Style California Law Threatens Children and Has Parents Furious,

Tells me we should be praying for this country more than ever before, though we know that times are changing, the bible tells us that. Will you be ready?

2 Timothy 3:1 (AMP)
1 BUT UNDERSTAND this, that in the last days will come (set in) perilous times of great stress and trouble [hard to deal with and hard to bear].

2 Timothy 3:1 (KJV)
1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.

perhaps from <G5465> (chalao) through the idea of reducing the strength; difficult, i.e. dangerous, or (by implication) furious :- fierce, perilous.

We know the times are changing but would you have ever thought it would change so drastically in such a short period of time?

I would never have thought it could, but here we are facing an enemy that only God can give us the wisdom to face. It really set me back when I read all the other pages that accompanies that article. I'm still having a hard time believing this can be true. I truly believe the devil has blinded their eyes to what's coming on this earth.

Did you experience, or hear any of this while you were living there?

The latest step in their march towards socialism is legislation that will begin to use big data to track children from “cradle to career”.
It was recently passed by the California legislature and will be signed by Governor Gavin Newsom.
This legislation, Senate Bill 75, was approved by a vote of 31-7 in the Senate and 62-14 in the Assembly. It will create a “longitudinal” data system that profiles and manipulates pupils from the earliest of ages so they are guided into a career determined by the central planners.
That’s right, just like the former Soviet Bloc nations used to do. From now on, in California, the state will decide what jobs your children will have, what education they will get, and who will guide them.

At my age I guess I should be excited, maybe I will get to see the Lord coming in the clouds after all. Amen.

What is the new law?

California Law

This New Soviet-Style California Law Threatens Children and Has Parents Furious

This “Big Brother” law makes California the most Socialist state in the nation. Parents are furious and fleeing the state to protect their children. Because this new Soviet-style California law threatens children and has parents furious. As if it wasn’t socialist enough, the California legislature keeps taking steps to make California more like the old, failed Soviet Union, than a state of the union.

The state bureaucracy is now tasked with determining exactly what data is collected from children to enable Big Brother.

Despite the dangers inherent in such a program, and the devastation it will visit on California families and children, the left is giddy with the passage of the law.

“This is long overdue. Finally, California, the center of the tech world, has a government that is catching up to the 21st century,” said Arun Ramanathan, CEO of Pivot Learning Partners.

Of course what wasn’t said is that Pivot Learning Partners is a nonprofit that will be benefiting from this legislation.

Hans Johnson, a senior fellow at the Public Policy Institute of California and director of its Higher Education Center said this; “I’m encouraged we are moving forward and proceeding through the workgroup in a thoughtful and deliberate way.”

As bad as the situation is in California, the worst is still to come.

Because this is part of a national movement being spearheaded by failed Georgia Governor candidate Stacey Abrams, New York Times writer David Brooks, and Barack Obama’s former deputy secretary of Education Jim Shelton.

These Soviet-style centralizers are after one thing; to control and shape young minds from the earliest of ages using powerful technological tools.

“We refuse to settle for a world where a child’s potential is dictated by the conditions in which the child is born. We are committed to helping every child succeed in school and in life from cradle to career, regardless of race, zip code or circumstance,” said Strive Together CEO and President Jennifer Blats.

Strive Together is responsible for the national Cradle to Career Network operation. They design their data systems to treat kids like guinea pigs in the maze of so-called “social justice”.

In other words, they hope to brainwash children in liberal and socialist ideology.

Cradle-to-Career Movement

Cincinnati, June 13, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) --

More than 400 community leaders, social change agents and policymakers will convene September 11-13 in Washington, D.C., for “StriveTogether’s” 10th annual national Cradle to Career Network Convening. They represent the StriveTogether Cradle to Career Network, a national movement that’s sweeping the country and impacting the lives of 13.7 million youth and counting.

“StriveTogether — like so many movements that changed our society — is fueled by passion and a shared belief that we can do better for every child,” said StriveTogether CEO and President Jennifer Blatz. “We refuse to settle for a world where a child’s potential is dictated by the conditions in which the child is born. We are committed to helping every child succeed in school and in life from cradle to career, regardless of race, zip code or circumstance.”

Joining the movement as keynote speakers in September are:

  • Stacey Abrams, activist, author, lawmaker and civil rights leader
  • David Brooks, cultural commentator, executive director at the Aspen Institute and author of “The Second Mountain: The Quest for a Moral Life”
  • Cecilia Muñoz, vice president for Public Interest Technology and Local Initiatives at New America
  • Richard V. Reeves, director of the Future of the Middle Class Initiative at the Brookings Institution and author of “Dream Hoarders: How the American Upper Middle Class Is Leaving Everyone Else in the Dust, Why That Is a Problem, and What to Do About It”
  • Jim Shelton, former deputy secretary of Education and founding executive director of My Brother’s Keeper under President Barack Obama

“They share our cradle-to-career vision,” Blatz said of the featured speakers. “We know the systems designed to serve our youth are failing children and families of color and those living in poverty. We exist to give every child, every chance, cradle to career. We’re here to help create possibilities — giving children opportunities to go further and do better than the generations before them.”

StriveTogether works to break down barriers, change systems and improve outcomes for as many families as possible. Using data to illuminate the nation’s most pressing challenges, StriveTogether lays the foundation for tough conversations and evidence-based actions. This data-driven approach proves what’s working and what’s not and improves outcomes in education and beyond.

The annual convening connects hundreds of community leaders and experts with thought leaders and more than 50 interactive sessions and how-to workshops.

  • Every Child. Cradle to Career.

A national movement to improve outcomes for kids in communities across America

StriveTogether supports a national, nonprofit network of nearly 70 communities using a rigorous approach to get better results for kids. We provide coaching, connections and resources to our local partnerships and work together to measurably improve seven outcomes from cradle to career.

Our Approach

  • Engage the community
  • Eliminate locally defined disparities
  • Develop a culture of continuous improvement
  • Leverage existing assets

The Roadmap to Success

Our Roadmap to Success plots the course of a student’s journey. These outcome areas are the most critical for the success of every child, cradle to career.

All of our efforts focus on these seven cradle-to-career outcomes:

Kindergarten readiness

Being ready for kindergarten affects future academic achievement and life success. Children develop fundamental skills and responses in early childhood that build strong foundations for reading, counting and social interactions. Studies show that as a child’s kindergarten readiness scores improve, third-grade reading and math scores rise accordingly.

Early grade reading

Literacy is critical to a child’s academic success, particularly early-grade reading. Children in the early grades begin to transition from learning to read to reading to learn. Reading at grade level is one of the strongest predictors of later success in school, with data showing the link between disparities in literacy during the early grades and persistent achievement gaps.

Middle grade math

Middle-grade math has become an important milestone for high school persistence, academic achievement, college attainment and readiness for the workforce. Research indicates that students who successfully complete middle-grade math perform better in geometry, more advanced algebra, trigonometry and calculus. A child’s math curriculum also has a strong link to college enrollment.

High school graduation

Students who graduate from high school earn higher wages and see better results in other measures of personal and social welfare, such as health and relationships. Increasing the educational attainment of one generation improves the next generation’s academic and social outcomes.

Postsecondary enrollment

Postsecondary enrollment marks a critical transition in the cradle-to-career pipeline. Students of color and those in low-income households are less likely to pursue education beyond high school. As more careers require additional preparation, it’s critical to ensure access to options and financial aid information for four-year degrees, two-year programs and technical certifications.

Postsecondary completion

More valuable than ever, degrees and certifications open doors to meaningful jobs and stable futures. Workers with at least a bachelor’s degree can earn more than individuals with only a high school diploma, and postsecondary attainment also leads to improved health and social outcomes. Society benefits from a more educated population, including lower crime rates and more community involvement.

Employment

Connecting postsecondary graduates to good jobs is the ultimate goal of the cradle-to-career pipeline. Students who are employed within a year of graduation are on their way to achieving self-sufficiency. When a community’s workforce is fully engaged, the entire community is stronger.

Our approach cuts across organizations and sectors to achieve powerful, enduring systems change. But it does not generate impact overnight. A combination of partners, practices and patience are all vital for continuous improvement to lead to sustainable results. Over time, communities are able to identify gaps along the continuum and align resources to maximize impact for the success of every child, cradle to career.
